Board of Management Elections
Following the period allowed for nominations for the position of Parents'/Guardians' representative on the Board of Management of Carrick-on-Shannon Community School, we are delighted to inform you that three parents/ guardians have received nominations.
As there are only two such positions on the Board, an election will now be held to fill these positions.

Board of Management Parents' Nomination
If you know someone who might be interested in serving on the Board of Management of Carrick-on-Shannon Community School, please click here to complete a quick form nominating them for the position of board member.
The Board of Management meets every five to six weeks and meetings last about two hours. The Board provides oversight in the areas of finance, child protection, code of behaviour etc.
If there are more than two nominees to the board, an election will be held among the parents/guardians of the school to determine the outcome.

SEC Candidate Self-Service Portal
The SEC Candidate Self-Portal will remain available to 6th Year students until 6pm on Saturday, 1st May 2021.
All Leaving Certificate Students, including LCA 2 students, must confirm their choices for their Leaving Certificate Exams 2021 on the portal prior to it's closing.
There will be no option for students to change their registered options once the Candidate Self-Service Portal closes.

SUSI Grant Scheme - 6th Year Notice
SUSI Grant is now open for applications for the academic year 2021/22.
All students who are eligible are encouraged to apply early. To see if you are eligible, click here.
Students must register online and can complete their application in stages. Students progressing to PLC Level 5 or Higher Education Level 6, 7 and 8 can apply.
Comhairle na nÓg Student Survey
The survey is for all students aged between 12 and 18 years old.
The survey takes no more than a few minutes to complete and seeks opinions on the provision of a recreational area for young people in Carrick-on-Shannon.
