Weather Warning

Met Eireann have issued a status yellow weather warning for snow/ ice for the whole of Ireland from 4pm today (6th Jan) until 11am tomorrow morning.

Please take care travelling too and from the school (or elsewhere) during these times.

Flu Vaccination (12 - 17 Years)

The HSE has asked schools to inform parents/ guardians and students that the nasal flu vaccine is now available in Ireland for children aged 2 - 17.

Participating GP practices and pharmacies will be giving the vacccine and the vaccine is given as a nasal spray up the nose.

Evening Study Session 2

6th Year Students who wish to avail of Supervised Study during January and February are invited to complete the online form below.

Supervised Study costs €3 per evening or €12 per week (Mon-Fri inclusive).

The online application form will close at 11am on Wednesday, 22nd December 2021. No late applications will be accepted due to the high numbers looking to attend Supervised Study.

Status Yellow Weather Alert

Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather alert for high winds and rain from 2am tomorrow until 6pm on Wednesday for Leitrim and it's surrounds.

Please take care travelling too and from the school over the next few days. In particular, be mindful of traffic at the school gate in the mornings and evenings.

1st Year CAT Results

First years who sat the Cognitive Ability Tests in September will be given their results this week.

Parents are encouraged to view these reports with their child.

Congratulations to Kyle Russell, 3rd Year, who has been named the U-14 Player of the Year at Sligo Rovers.

Debating Society

The inaugural meeting of the Debating Society took place in the school yesterday, 18th November 2021.

While currently limited to 1st and 2nd Year students, we will be inviting other year groups to join shortly after Christmas.

Thank you to the students who joined yesterday and we look forward to welcoming more students to the socitey over the coming months.
