There are two projects being completed in the Community School this summer.
Our roof, which has been known to leak every now and then, is being repaired and will be completed for the start of the new year.
We are also installing a new heating system in our Sports Complex and that will also be ready for the new academic year.
As part of that project, solar panels will be installed on the main school building to improve our environmental footprint.
Of course, if that wasn't enough, we have begun the planning for our new school extension. It's going to get very busy around here!
The Board of Management of Carrick-on-Shannon Community School will renew this August.
All parents/ guardians of students who attended the school during the academic year 2019/ 2020 are eligible to participate in the election of two parents' representatives for the Board of Management August 2020 - July 2023.
